Ground Travel
MIT is located in Cambridge, just across the Charles from Boston proper. E51 is at the front of the campus, on the corner of Memorial Drive and Wadsorth St. Kendall Station, on the Red Line, is the closest MBTA stop, and is right at the back of the campus.
Air Travel
Getting in from Logan airport is a fairly painless affair. The airport sports shuttles to most hotels and the airport is about a $40 cab ride from Cambridge. The Silver Line bus service runs on dedicated tunnels and connects with the Red Line at South Station. It is about a 20 minute ride, costs $2.00, and is a really easy way to get between MIT/Cambridge and Logan.
